Trailer Couplings

Most trailer couplings and tow balls are now tested and approved to a European standard and marked with an approval number and D & S test values.

The "D" value represent the force or strength to which it has been tested (D17.2 is approximately equivalent to a 3500Kg trailer)

The "S" value represents the maximum static load (nose weight) that can be applied to the coupling.
