We welcome enquires and will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about our products or any other item requirements. You can contact our customer services by email, phone or letter.

Payment

We accept Paypal, all major Credit / Debit cards and Cash on collection. We do not accept American Express.

To pay for your goods over the phone by credit card please call our retail shop, where we will be able to deal with you enquiry. Our PayPal address is sales@thetoolbox.uk.com

All transactions are in pounds sterling..

 

Delivery

To comply with card issuer and PayPal conditions, we will use your PayPal Shipping Address or the registered card holders address for delivery of goods. Please note: You are able to add an additional address to your PayPal account before purchasing goods.

 

Carriage Costs

Goods delivered by carrier (2Kg or over) are subject to the following charges based upon the delivery address.

  • Zone 1 England, Wales and parts of Scotland excluding Highlands & Islands
  • Zone 2 Highlands & Islands of Scotland (Including the following postcodes)
  • Zone 3 Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly
  • Zone 4 Channel Islands

Goods purchased for delivery outside Zone 1 (the Mainland UK region) without paying the extra carriage costs will not be despatched until the cost is paid. Combined carriage discount is available for two or more items, simply order the items you require but do not pay straight away, we will combine the purchases on one invoice and then email this to you. We can only combine postage on items that have not yet been paid for. If you purchase an item and wish to collect it from our retail Shop in Birmingham, please contact our Customer Services to allow us to make sure that the item and invoice are ready for you.

 

Postage Costs

U.K Royal Mail Postal Services: Does not include the cost for posting to Ireland, Channel Islands or any other European Country. If you are uncertain about carriage costs for your order, please email or call our retail shop on tel. 0121 477 5222 and we will inform you of the exact postage cost.

 

Items Lost In Post

For goods sent with Royal Mail, we ask that if a parcel has not turned up you let us know. Royal mail may leave a card through your letterbox if they are unable to deliver. Please check and contact your local sorting office before contacting us. Royal Mail policy will require you to wait for 15 working days before the parcel is considered to be lost. To claim for a lost parcel after 15 working days have elapsed we will require your co-operation by filling in Royal Mail's short claim form. We will then issue you with a full credit or despatch your item again.

 

Pricing

While we try to ensure that all prices are accurate, errors occasionally may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of continuing with your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled.

 

Accuracy of Product Information

All specifications, information and images in our listings are as accurate and up to date as possible. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within our listings.

 

Damaged Goods

If the goods delivered to you arrive damaged please contact us and report this as soon as possible this must be within 7 days of arrival. You should then return them to us for inspection. Once the damaged item has been received we will send out a replacement or arrange for a credit to be made.

 

Refunds

If you change your mind after ordering an item from us, you have a right to cancel your order within seven working days and receive a full refund. The seven working day period will begin on the day you receive the item. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

 

Returns

Contact us by phone or email, providing your full contact details, item details and reason for return. We will then provide you with a Returns Reference number.

 

Warranty

All our products are genuine, new and have a full manufacturers guarantee unless stated on the listing. The Tool Box warrants your product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse or modification of the product. In the unlikely event of your item being faulty, just simply contact our customer services either by email or phone. Please have the item and invoice details to hand when contacting us, this will help us to deal with your query. Goods sent back without authorisation will not be processed.

 

Limits of Liability

Should the product fail under warranty as described in the preceding paragraphs, you will be asked to return the item for inspection, repair, replacement or refund. If under warranty your reasonable carriage costs would also be refunded. We will not be held liable to you or any party for any damages that result from the failure of this product. Damages excluded include, but are not limited to the following; lost profits, lost savings, lost data, damage to other equipment, and incidental consequential damages arising from the use, or inability to use this product. In no event will The Tool Box be liable for more than the amount of your original purchase price.

 

Non-Payment

If payment is not received within 7 working days, your order maybe cancelled and the item(s) re-listed.

 

VAT

Our listed prices include 20% VAT.
