What we collect:

We may collect the following information:

• Your E-Mail Address, Daytime Telephone Number, Home Address and Post Code and Delivery Address and Post Code.  This information enables us to process your orders and to advise you of the status of your orders.

• A Password.  The first time you order you are asked to register by entering a password.  This password enables us to identify you when you revisit our Website.  The benefits to you are that, by entering your password, you do not need to re-enter your address details when you re-order and that, by clicking on the support buttons, you can check the status of any orders you have already placed.

• Your Credit Card Details i.e. Credit Card Type, Number, Expiry Date etc.  This information is sent to us in an encrypted form and is stored on a secure server which enables us to process your order.   This sensitive information is held only as long as necessary for us to meet our obligations to you and the credit card companies.

Online Payment Security and Data Privacy:

The Tool Box takes your online payment security very seriously and we promise to protect your personal and credit card information with the highest level of data privacy and security.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How do you secure my payments?

We employ data encryption to ensure safe and secure transactions on our site.

Our payment area is secured using 128-Bit encryption across a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).  An SSL means that all of your personal information - credit card details, name, and address - is encoded when it's sent to us.  This encryption ensures that no one can read it as it travels over the Internet.

You'll know when you enter this area because the small yellow padlock appears in the bottom right hand corner of your browser.  The other indication is in the address bar.  When you enter the secure area of the site, the background of the address bar in Internet Explorer 7.0, Firefox 3.0, Google Chrome and Opera 9.5, will turn green or yellow and will display a padlock symbol. You'll also notice that http:// is replaced by https:// (the 's' standing for 'Secure').

What is SSL?

Secure Sockets Layer, SSL, is the standard security technology for creating an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.  The connection uses TSL 1.0 and is incrypted using RC4_128, with SHA1 for message authentication and RSA as the key exchange mechanism.  This link ensures that all data passed between our web server and your browser remains private and secure.  This system is used by websites worldwide to secure internet transactions between the server and the customer.

In order to be able to generate an SSL link (signified by the gold padlock in the information tool bar), a web server requires an SSL Certificate.
